Charity Shoot - New Date!

So after our meeting on Tuesday, I was supposed to hear from Penbrooke regarding the upstairs for the charity shoot. I didn't hear anything. When I texted Kris on Wednesday, after some hedging on his part, he finally told me that the upstairs is booked for Mar 8. He was supposed to contact the renter and find out if they could take the downstairs lounge area instead. I texted again yesterday as I had not heard from him. And as of this e-mail, I still have not heard from him.

At the meeting, June tentatively booked the 286 Legion for Mar 15, since they are booked on Mar 8.

From the discussion on Tuesday, the general consensus was that the Legion would be a better venue. Andrea is going to call tomorrow to confirm for Mar 15. (Andrea, please let me know the result of your call and I will cancel Penbrooke.) Then Calgary Scope can set up their display, we have access to the kitchen, space to set up door prizes, brown bag auction prizes, and 24 boards to play on. We need to get the charity shoot back to what it was.

I have asked Mark to take down the posting on the website. Once Andrea gets confirmation, she will revamp the poster and send to Mark to repost.
