Inter-Community Dart League

ICDL 2020-21

Hope everyone is staying safe. And you are all enjoying the beautiful summer we are having.

Even though we are not a part of Darts Alberta, we do play in Alberta. Alberta Sport Council has mandated that cohort groups cannot be more than 40 players. Once you are in a cohort group, you can't play in any other group. So those that are playing in the Rundle groups and the Forest Lawn Legion group would not be eligible to play in league play.

So, by unanimous decision of the executive and Alberta Health Services protocol, it has been decided that the AGM will not be held this month. And the league will be suspended until at least January. We will re-assess the situation in December. If Phase 3 is launched by then, we will hold the AGM and do a schedule for 15 weeks. If Phase 3 has not launched, we will follow Alberta Health Services and Alberta Sport Council protocol.

As for the league fees, we will hold off making a decision on refunding the second half fees from last season until December. If the league goes ahead in January, your league fees will already be paid. If it is decided that the league will not play in January, your league fees will be refunded to the captains.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will keep you posted as things develop.
